In 2011, Widgiewa School made the best of an unfortunate situation. Upon the closure of their small rural school, the School Committee decided that the sale of the school bus should fund an ongoing scholarship at CSU. This scholarship aims to support students from the Narrandera or Urana Local Government Areas studying the Bachelor of Nursing with a view to making funds available to students studying Medicine if CSU’s expansion into this area is successful.
MUST BE STUDYING IN:
2nd / 3rd / 4th / 5th Year
Any undergraduate Faculty of Science and Health course
CONDITIONS:
Open to students from Berrigan Shire, Bland Shire, Murrumbidgee Shire, Narrandra Shire or Urana Shire Local Government Areas only (supporting documentation to be provided).
Continuing students to have a GPA of 4.0 or above.
Students must reside and/or have attended school within any of the above LGAs.
