The stipend scholarship provides an annual stipend equivalent to the minimum RTP stipend rate. This scholarship is tenable for up to three years for a PhD recipient, and up to 1.75 years for a master’s by research recipient subject to satisfactory academic performance. PhD recipients may apply for an extension of up to six months.
The supplementary scholarship provides a supplementary stipend of $10,000 per year for up to three years, subject to satisfactory academic performance. The recipient may apply for an extension of up to six months.
You must:
- have an unconditional offer of admission for full-time studies in a master’s by research or PhD within the Sydney Institute of Agriculture
- have applied for the RTP at the University of Sydney.
Note: You must apply for a RTP Scholarship to be eligible for the stipend scholarship. Supplementary scholarship recipients must also hold a primary RTP scholarship from the University of Sydney that provides a stipend allowance.
