Christine Huynh | Nautilus Consulting

Christine Huynh is a veterinarian and aquaculture consultant with extensive experience working with a variety of species, including salmon, barramundi, abalone, prawns, trout, kingfish, tuna, and native Australian fish. She is the founder of Nautilus Collaboration, which works with startups, family fish farms, companies trying to bring their product to market, and large organisations like the World Bank. Christine’s passion for fish started in her childhood, where she bred ornamental fish, and this led her to study veterinary science at the University of Sydney. She loves the people in the aquaculture industry and enjoys developing health teams to respond to emergencies, integrating herself in the processes, and working closely with operators. Her biggest challenge starting in the industry was being okay with not knowing the answer to all questions, and she has encountered gender-related challenges, but she has seen gender equality improve over the last 15 years. In 10 years, she would like to continue working in her consultancy company and use her knowledge to work in developing nations
