Established in 1960 by a bequest from Francis Henry Loxton, this Scholarship supports higher degree research students undertaking research in agriculture. This includes research on plant breeding and production, carbon, water, soil, food quality and safety, livestock, dairying, field robotics, agricultural data analytics, agricultural/resource economics and development agriculture.
You must:
- have an unconditional offer of admission or be enrolled for full-time studies in a PhD within any faculty at the University of Sydney
- conduct research within the discipline area of agriculture, in a research area outlined in the terms and conditions.
- have applied for the RTP at the University of Sydney
- be male.
Supplementary scholarship recipients must hold a primary RTP scholarship from the University of Sydney that provides a stipend allowance.
