Year 9 and 10 students across Australia can win $1000 for their school through the Crawford Fund‘s ‘Development for a Better Future’ Competition. Students can work solo or as part of a team to create a short video (<3 minutes) around a food and nutrition security issue from one of the Crawford Fund’s ‘Development for a Better Future‘ teaching materials.
The Crawford Fund want tomorrow’s scientists, researchers, communicators, AI and big data specialists, nutritionists, geographers, engineers, designers, social scientists, problem solvers and creative thinkers to let their imaginations run wild with their ‘development for a better future’ ideas.
This competition is about creativity, not perfection – students do not have to be professional directors! Entries will be based on the message, understanding of the issue and the appropriateness of the solution provided.
