James and Everingham Bursary

The James and Everingham Bursary was founded in 1975 by a gift to the Queensland Agricultural College made by Dr N P Everingham. The bursary is in memory of Anne Elizabeth James and Stephan Nixon Everingham, who died in a motor accident in 1973. Anne Elizabeth James was enrolled in the Associate Diploma of Applied Science Food Technology at the College in 1972 and Stephan Everingham graduated with the degree of Bachelor of Applied Science Rural Technology in 1972. The bursary was formalised by Senate in 1999.

Scholarship value is equal to Annual income from the fund and therefore varies.

To be eligible, you must:

  • be enrolled in a program relating to food technology or rural agriculture
  • apply for the scholarship by the closing date.
