University students and young industry professionals have the chance to kickstart their career in the red meat industry, with the Intercollegiate Meat Judging (ICMJ) Association to host its first virtual careers expo on July 10.
ICMJ careers expo coordinator Rozzie O’Reilly said the careers expo would include both a professional development session to enhance the employability of students entering the workforce, as well as video meetings to connect students with prospective employers.
“The ICMJ careers expos really are a flagship of our program evidenced by over 40 industry companies attending our career events each year to ‘cherry pick’ the best of Australia’s agriculture, veterinary and agribusiness graduates from across 12 Australian tertiary institutions,” Ms O’Reilly said.
