Samuel & Eileen Gluyas Fellowship

The Samuel and Eileen Gluyas Fellowship was established in 1980 by a bequest to the University under the will of Samuel Laurie Gluyas of the sum of $150,000, which constitutes the Gluyas Bequest Fund. The recipient of the award shall be known as the “Samuel and Eileen Gluyas Fellow”.
The Samuel & Eileen Gluyas Fellowship shall be open to competition among candidates who:
- Are domestic students, ie Australian or New Zealand citizens and holders of a permanent visa;
- Are a graduate in the field of veterinary science, rural science, animal science, biomedical science or agriculture; and
- Are a Masters or Doctorate student of the University, conducting research in relation to diseases of cattle, or to the breeding of cattle, or to general cattle husbandry.
