Greenham Tongala, Tasmania and Gippsland operations buy livestock from over 9,000 mainland and Tasmanian suppliers through live weight buying centres or ‘over the hooks’ trading.

Since 2000, Greenham has been awarding agricultural education scholarships with more than $375,000 invested over that time. Greenham is committed to supporting local community and industry through education and is delighted to form a partnership with Australia’s leading agricultural institution, Marcus Oldham.
Available to students studying Year 1 or Year 2 of the Agribusiness Program, and Year 1 or Year 3 of the Agriculture Program.
Applicants must be dedicated to pursuing a career across the value chain (including production, processing, logistics and marketing) within the Beef or Dairy industry.
Preference will be given to a Victorian or Tasmanian student studying at Marcus Oldham College, however, any student with a strong interest in the beef or dairy industry is encouraged to apply.
- Should a first-year student be awarded the Greenham Agriculture Scholarship, $10,000 will be credited towards their first year of study fees. An additional $10,000 will be provided to the same recipient in their 2nd year of the Bachelor of Business (Agribusiness) or the 3rd year of the Bachelor of Business (Agriculture) subject to review of their communications and academic performances during their first year of study.
- Should a student in their 2nd year of the Bachelor of Business (Agribusiness) or the 3rdyear of the Bachelor of Business (Agriculture) be awarded the Greenham Agriculture Scholarship, $20,000 will be credited to this year of study.
- The successful recipient may have the opportunity to carry out a work placement with Greenham. This incentive will be discussed on a case by case basis and dependent on availability within the Greenham organization at the time.
- It is expected that the Scholarship winner will be available for the Foundation Golf Day as part of the Greenham playing team.
