AgriEducate Essay Competition
Application close: 31 Oct 2019, 11:59pm AEST
Agriculture is truly a global industry. In Australia, did you know that there are over 1.6 million people involved in the Australian industry alone? And how about its impact. Norman Borlaug said “you can’t build peace on an empty stomach”, emphasising importance of an industry that feeds us three times a day. So did you know that Australians directly feed around 75 million people, and with our shared knowledge almost 400 million?
And through this essay competition, you could be part of this industry that overtook mining as the largest contributor to GDP growth in 2016-17 financial year, no matter what your training. You could also take home a $700 share of the $4000 in cash prizes, and connections with leading business and research organisations simply by submitting an essay for the annual AgriEducate Essay Competition.
