The Rural and Regional Agriculture Scholarship aims to relieve some of the financial pressure associated with relocating from home, for the purposes of obtaining a tertiary education.
This donor funded scholarship has been established to help young rural and regional Australians with big ambitions realise their potential through education.
Application Criteria
- Applicants must be enrolled in an Undergraduate degree at UOW in 2020;
- Applicants must originate from a rural or regional area, as per the Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS) Remoteness Structure: https://www.abs.gov.au/websitedbs/D3310114.nsf/home/remoteness+structure;
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Humanitarian or Australian Permanent Resident.
- *Students from an agricultural background are strongly encouraged to apply*.
