Do you work with cattle? Are you an innovator? Want to do even more?

Bayer’s Care4Cattle is a global grant that provides the tools and resources for innovators in cattle well-being and allows Bayer to offer direct and targeted support for farmers and veterinarians. With the Care4Cattle grant Bayer want to help facilitate the initiation or continuation of innovative and practice-oriented ways to advance dairy and beef cattle well-being on the farm.

To apply, applicants must:

  1. Complete the online submission form
  2. Attach a project proposal (max. 5 pages) outlining the clear objectives for the project, logistical details, including the proposed utilisation of the grant, or milestones/results of an already ongoing project as well as supporting images. (Guidelines)

Eligibility Criteria

Bayer are looking for livestock professionals around the world who are passionate about advancing cattle well-being and have a concrete idea for new or better ways to further improve on-farm practices. Applications are welcomed from:

  • Farmers and farm animal keepers
  • Practising veterinarians working closely with farmers to implement well-being advancements
  • Graduate students and researchers in veterinary medicine, animal or agricultural science who engage with farmers in their research on cattle well-being
