Livestock/Wool Sales Manager

Manage livestock/wool sales within a branch for a feedlot or multiple properties.

Tasks

  • Manage sales of company services
  • Develop good relationships with customers
  • Provide liaison between customers and company by ensuring prompt and efficient processing of customer correspondence, requests and orders
  • Identify livestock/wool acquisition opportunities daily and secure budgeted throughput levels by offering pricing, hedging and service alternatives to regional growers
  • Service customer complaints and enquiries
  • Prepare regular reports for analysis by management on competitor activity, sales trends and complaints/queries concerning products
  • Engage support of technical, administrative, financial and educational backup teams as required
  • Recommend solutions to problems involved in preparation of account contracts and negotiations with customers
  • Regularly report on livestock/wool quality, condition and yield expectations
