Tasks
- Determine methods to improve sowing, cultivating, and harvesting plants
- Prepare plant propagules (seeds, cuttings and bulbs)
- Maintain plants, including application of fertilisers and pesticides
- Harvest and package plant products
- Conduct research into varietal breeding
- Investigate adaption of plants to environmental conditions
- Investigate techniques to improve handling and storage of plant products
Study Pathway
Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
