Develop and deliver operational information to teams for implementation.
Tasks
- Manage forestry inventory, wood flow modelling, land evaluation, and GIS modelling
- Provide strategic advice to CEO, General Manager Forestry and Harvesting Manager
- Prepare and monitor budgets for relevant sections
- Represent company and consult with regional bodies, stakeholders and industry groups
- Manage compilation of timber release plans to agreed timetables
- Analyse resource stratification, field and office development, field inventory
- Manage delivery of inventory programs through a combination of employees and contractors as required
- Lead relationship building and negotiation with key stakeholders
- Manage and provide mentoring and coaching to a team
- Manage performance and audit of inventory contractors
- Manage day-to-day implementation of Occupational Health and Safety programs in the workplace
