Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA) and Cicada Innovations are launching three challenges designed to investigate and find innovative solutions to key problem areas, and invite you to participate in their mission to reduce the livestock industry’s carbon emissions. Lower carbon emissions means environmental sustainability and a greener future for all.
The Challenges
Challenge One – Reduce methane emissions in livestock through the delivery of non-compromising bioactive or novel dietary compounds
Challenge Two – New efficient methods of measuring carbon in soil
Challenge Three – Open innovation challenge seeking elegant solutions to boost red meat industry productivity and reduce carbon emissions
Interested parties are invited to apply early stage conceptual ideas to one or both of the outlined challenges. Applications are open here until 15 November 2018.
